Worship (poem)
by Karl Sider
There was a time when worship was
Peripheral in my life
I'd go to church to sing and praise
Then leave to live my life
But lately since the spinning wheel
Of life on which I sit
Has spun so fast, in such a way,
A fire has been lit
Worship (poem)
by Karl Sider
Worship
There was a time when worship was
Peripheral in my life
I'd go to church to sing and praise
Then leave to live my life
But lately since the spinning wheel
Of life on which I sit
Has spun so fast, in such a way,
A fire has been lit
The heat of which is serving to
Firm up my watery clay
The Potter's hand is skillful and
I trust His narrow way
Worship now is more to me
Then something that I do
Worship is the only way
I know to make it through
Demonic thoughts within my head
Are put to instant flight
As worship dominates my head
My heart stands up to fight
Worship is my anchor now
Which holds me in the storm
Worship keeps me on the wheel
When I am tired and worn
Worship keeps my focus true
On Him who is my life
Worship holds my hand in His
As He lights up my life
